Nebumi (値踏み) in Japanese means estimation. The ‘Me’ in MeBumi represents ‘My’ and ‘Bumi’ in Sanskrit means land, meaning Estimators from my land.
MeBumi is a business born out of COVID. The pandemic forced all of the construction industry in Australia to shift to cloud computing to enable everyone to work from home.
This provided an opportunity for civil engineers to work from anywhere around the world. India being the biggest producer of engineers in the world, the demand of talented individuals in the construction industry of Australia could be met by exporting our services.
This also is economically beneficial to our clients as the cost of hiring and maintaining a staff in Australia is triple the cost of doing the same in India.

Meet the Business Owner
Akshay Shewale: I love exploring different cultures, values, ideologies and how it affects an individual. I have lived and traveled across various countries including the United Kingdom,USA ,India, Australia and many more to understand different cultures.
I am particularly interested in initiating strategies for growing privately owned businesses and am passionate about expansion of businesses.
I am a graduate from Monash University, Melbourne having completed a Master’s of Business. Along with the university studies, I also worked as a Business Development Executive which enabled me to apply the learnings from the university in real life business situations.
I pursued a Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Greenwich, London which has helped me lay the foundation for understanding engineering and develop my analytical and critical thinking skills
